Notification types
Notifications fall into the following categories: Assignment notifications appear when you are assigned as the generation owner or listing owner on a catalog or SKU. These notifications tell you that new work has been routed to you and requires your attention in the Catalog Production workflow. Approval notifications appear when a SKU you are involved with has been approved or rejected in the review stage. These keep owners and assignees in the loop about QC decisions without requiring manual follow-up. Informational alerts surface general platform updates relevant to your account, such as system notices or process milestones affecting your team’s work. Warning and error alerts notify you when something in your workflow needs attention — for example, when a generation you own encounters a problem that may require action. Catalog handoff email is a separate channel from in-app notifications. It is a scheduled email delivered to role-targeted recipients when SKUs in a catalog are ready for listing. Handoff email delivery and its schedule are configured by your Admin — see Administration for details.Reading and dismissing notifications
Each notification card shows:- A title summarizing the event (e.g., “SKU assigned to you”)
- A message with context about the event
- A timestamp showing when the notification was created
Catalog handoff email delivery is targeted by role. Members in the Listing Team role receive handoff emails if they have not opted out in their profile preferences.
